Links to Protest.net from Porn Sites

Well I’m not quite sure how I’m going to respond to this email I got to day.

i’m a former squatter and street musician (amsterdam & eastberlin) and have allways engaged where-ever possible to try and talk sense in to your average joe as regards politics, virtual green banana$ & brainwashing by mainstream media, anyways to the point.. i now run some high-profile free porn sites (~500k – 1 mill./ hits/ month ) offering free downloads and wish to stick up a link to protest.net. Being the kind of site that not necessarily everyone wants to find themselves associated with i thought i’d ask first ;) So if you lot don’t mind i’d stick up a link as shown here on the right: http://www.pornmasters.tv/forums/Astrochicken throughout our 5 free forums. (i’d redo the graphic as i resized it to 117px width in order to fit and it thus looks rather messy :)

This I’d like to do in the light of the dubja’s incoherent and fucking frightening ramblings on war and the incomprehensible gullibility of the gerneral populace to believe anything broadcast. Aye, and if you need a hand with anything css,cgi,dhtml,php related then just ask too!

What do you say to an email like that? I mean they already link to it. Kellan says that G had already found and pointed out the link. One wonders how G knew about the link, perhaps it’s better G remains identified by an initial. I’m going to send him a note back saying we don’t care if he links to us as long as we don’t have to reciprocate.

The whole thing reminds me of these who anarchist women I heard about in Amsterdam. See they made the argument that to work for wages was to prostitute yourself out to the capitalist system. They’d rather work as real prostitutes and have enough time and money to support their activism. See, they were squatters and could work a little and keep themselves supported to spend most of their time doing activism. I never did meet them, so it might just be some tall tale told late at night at ascii.
