Zach de la Rocha's Pirate Radio
Apparently Zach de la Rocha was served with papers by the FCC for illegally running a pirate radio rebroadcast of kill radio in Los Angeles. (via dyimedia) That’s really cool that he stood up for it. I wish that he’d keep going and have the FCC raid the station. It’d be a great publicity stunt bringing attention to pirate radio and probably cause dozens more stations to spring up.
Kill Radio is an awesome collective which grew out of people involved with indymedia los angeles. They are remarkable for how well they are organized and the real focused attention they have put in to making a working model of consensus for a large group (more than 100 members).
