Did the US use chemical weapons in Fallujah?

The state run RAI television network in Italy has run a documentary about how the US used chemical weapons in the battle of Fallujah. The US claimed innocence, on technicality that the chemical weapons they used is banned under an international weapons control treaty that the US didn’t sign.

The irony that the US had, even in a limited sense, used chemical weapons on a mixed civilian / insurgent population in Iraq is amazing. It’s we had to destroy the village in order to save it all over again.
