Went to foocamp

I’m still recovering, I’m not sure what to say. It was amazing. The hardware hackers like squid labs were awesome. There were interesting discussions about microformats and the future of the media. We had one of those funny convergences where people think of the same idea at the same time and end up demoing it to each-other. I found out that O’Reilly is planning an emerging telephony conference and i found out from Surj Patel how to build an open source linux cell phone. (more on that later).

In general foocamp was an amazing collection of smart accomplished people. There was a sense of play, of fun, sure the segways helped, but in general an excitement about the future.

Noah dragged out the odeo studio equiptment and recorded a bunch of podcasts from foocamp.
