Pledgebank goes beyond the UK
From the folks who made ‘they work for you’ they have a website pledgebank to encourage people to take collective action. The idea is that you’ll do something if you know x other people are also doing it. It’s pretty cool. If tied in to something like 43people it’d be even cooler. Connect up activism and activities with social networks.
It’s like the meetup social hack. The tech is simple, but when presented in the right way, encouraging people to create community or take action based on a virtual community is pretty cool. I only wish i’d thought of it first.
