Google News in German

So they've made the plunge. Google News has jumped out of being an english only news service. Today they launched their first non-english language news site in german. But they did it in a really weird way. They aren't doing a german language google news, they have a germany google news, Deutschland to be percise. This means, i assume, that they cut out german language news from swizterland, luxemburg, and austria as well as german language news from countries where german isn't the first language. They are making a mistake. If they continue to expand like this we will never get major media like La Opinion the daily spanish language newspaper from Los Angeles in google news. They'd also never be able to have google news belgium, swizterland, spain, israel, paraguay, or many other countries where the media and society do not function in just one language. Dear Writers
RAHA, if loosely translated, means freedom or independence. We are a group of independent writers belonging to different countries, communities, creeds, castes, religions, races, languages and sexes. Our prime objective is to fight for freedom — the freedom to read, write and speak what one thinks is right.

RAHA professes — and gives its members, well wishes and compatriots — absolute freedom of the spoken and the written word. We endeavor to support independent writers from all parts of the world, while opposing any kind of censorship or suppression.

We seek your support to fight for this noble cause. You can help RAHA by contributing your work — be it poetry, fiction, non-fiction, critique, you name it — provided it is of quality and is committed to a cause.
Please announce RAHA we site to work better.
We invite you to join RAHA by quoting Giannes Ritsos’ poetic line:

The peace is the library

Best Regards
